High Tea turns three – and I’m in town just long enough to be a part of the (underground) star-studded spectacular…

High Tea At The Quay is a one-night-only event from Sydney’s wonderful fortnightly, speakeasy-style live concert series, High Tea. The High Tea Crew are relocating from their regular secret, invite-only warehouse space to Sydney’s famed live venue, The Basement. And I get to be a part of the festivities, just before I jet back to Berlin later this month.

Some talented artists who have performed at High Tea over the years – including Brian Campeau, Wes Carr (Buffalo Tales), Sam Buckingham, Aidan Roberts (The Maple Trail), Brett Winterford, and myself – will each be sining a couple of their tunes backed by the High Tea house band, followed by a set from The Green Mohair Suits.
