The Ray Mann Three returns to Sydney for two very special nights of music and art at Notes in Enmore. Each night will feature a looong live performance from the band, projections and displays of original art by Ray Mann, and special guests to be announced soon.
This two-night event marks the band’s first Sydney shows since the sold-out Basement and Hopetoun shows last year and the national tours with Tori Amos and Al Green.

Here’s some bits from the official press release:
“Chugg Entertainment is thrilled and honoured to bring to Australia and New Zealand for the very first time, the peerless prince of soul, the Reverend Al Green. Backed by his unbelievable 12-piece band, Al Green’s first ever Australian and New Zealand shows in January next year promise to be once-in-a-lifetime concert events.”
.
“The Ray Mann Three, Australia’s troubadours of minimal soul music, who’s sound has been described as ‘urban, neo-soul, with a dash of funk, lots of spunk with a truly fresh spirit’ will be opening the night’s proceedings at each of the Australian theatre shows.”
